Absolutely PMSL at that Agrippa, don't mind if this squad does a bit better than the last lot, not quite so much up themselves and haven't actually heard '66 mentioned that often.

Let's face it, they are the only one of the four home nations (excluding Cornwall) to have made it to Brazil so I guess they deserve a little support from the rest of us, especially as they seem to have been a little more modest (realistic!) about their chances in the competition this time.

Just given up watching the England game ::)
If there's a cheer from the telly I suspect it will be another goal by Uruguay :unimpressed:

Well we went with low expectations and they have been met.  As you say we are not on the bus home yet but it's not in our control anymore.

Fingers crossed and work out who your "Other" team is (no pressure)...

BTW Who is your "Other" team?

Would be nice to see a surprise winner of the World Cup, like Chile, Netherlands or even USA, that would send shock waves through the world of soccer  ;D

I am a fan of the Netherlands, their team and supporters are amazing. Was in Amsterdam when one of the tournaments was going on some years back, the buildings were decked out in orange, - a terrific sight and a wonderful atmosphere (and not from the cafes either ;) ).

And my Premier League team has appointed a Dutch manager :)
