Spend as little as possible on what you need so you can spend as much as possible on what you want.

Some Thunder, including this (which I shouldn't play really as it hurts)

Fantastic power metal while sprucing up the old layout.

@Newportnobby  - Thunder is an incredible band! Very much slept on.

Well, it's all been getting a bit on the heavy side of things! So going back to the excellent Bonnie Raitt @Newportnobby , here is another American singer who is sort of along the same lines but not so electric. I first heard Sara K on her 1997 album "Hobo", following her time on the Chesky label she has been on the Stockfisch label. Here she is from her 2002 release "Water Falls"...

Sara has now retired from the music industry.

Just catching up again :

Cream - yes I quite like Cream. I don't listen    to them much these days but good old fashioned classic early rock.

Thunder - predictably, that's not my thing.

Sara K - that's more like it.

Stingray.

Expecting a load of flak for this one, but I don't care, I had one of the greatest nights of my life seeing them back together last year. Perfect Dad/Daughter moment

I don't know about Oasis.
They have produced some good stuff over the years which I have quite enjoyed but also some very mediocre offerings.
Their internal conflicts don't help but then The Kinks, all those years ago, suffered from the same problem.
