All things, Katzenjammer!
It all started when their cover of Land of Confusion by Genesis popped up on YouTube.
I just love their whimsical performance video with very basic but highly effective animated additions. Oh, and that amazing cat-faced contrabass balilaika named Akerø! ;D

How ironic that I choose N gauge after I start using reading glasses.
- Progression to prescription glasses has not dissuaded me either.

Well, I don't know about that........but, having never heard of Katzenjammer, I had to look them up.

I've just listened to Demon Kitty Rag and A Bar in Amsterdam which, although not really my thing, are quite good fun.

It's always good to discover new music and artists.

A band I really liked in the 80s - The Cars (just don't ask me what I think about what Live Aid did with 'Drive' )

As far as I'm aware I have no Gaelic blood in me but, since I used to go hill walking in the Republic in the late70s/early 80s, I have loved their music. I think it was 'Planxty' who set me off, and an evening in Matt Malloy's pub in Westport, Co. Mayo. I've walked up the 2 holy mountains (St.Brendan's and Croagh Patrick) and also done Carrauntoohil. Here's a great track entitled 'Roisin Dubh' (Not to be confused with the Thin Lizzy track of the same name)

Nothing for 3 days. Seems like I've gobsmacked everyone with my choices

Keep 'em coming.

You never know what others may like and it's always good to listen to stuff I haven't heard before even if it's not my cup of tea.

It's a Beautiful  Day Live in 1970

IABD represented American psychedelic folk rock at its best I think.

I always loved White Bird, it has long been one of my favourite tracks, although this live offering is not the band at their best (or perhaps it's the live recording that lets it down).

Formed by Davis La Flamme (violinist)with his wife Linda on keyboards originally I believe.
I think this is Pattie Santos on vocals and Hal Wagonet on Bass.

Moonglum

I don't think that I have ever heard it all - but rather pleasant Martin. I did initially think that I had seen them appearing on one of the CBS samplers (FYHWR etc.) but then thought I was mistaken. I wasn't, they appear on "Rockbuster" released in 1970 with a young Arnold Schwarzenegger on the cover. I suspect one of my school chums had the album.

Like the Island samplers, great sources of music.

It's well worth listening to the album version Tim @Moonglum .

I had the self titled album and Choice Quality Stuff (aka It's a Big, Bad Beautiful Day).
