I was very surprised some years after it came out to discover it was actually a translation and there was an original set of German lyrics
"Knowledge has no value or use for the solitary owner: to be enjoyed it must be communicated" -- Charles Pratt, 1st Earl Camden

Just throwing this out there as there's hardly a week goes by without me playing it..........

To my mind Man, who I saw live several times, were the epitome of pub rock in the early 70s.

They produced some great music and always gave of their all. Good honest rock n Roll.

Be Good to Yourself imo was their best album.

Unfortunately for them they never quite made it to the top but were never far away being more of  a club/small venue/university/college outfit.

One of the very few bands from my youth that I still listen to quite regularly.

Now I'm listening to Alanis Morissette's 'Jagged little pill' album. I'd forgotten just how good it is but advise language caution to anyone as her lyrics can be 'fruity' to say the least.

Inspired to listen to a bit of  Man this morning I followed a similar artists link (on Spotify) to a band I've never heard of from the early 70s.

Kin Ping Meh are from Germany (Kraut Rock) and if you like Hawkwind this might appeal :

Newportnobby

Nice find, Martin. Definite early 70s vibe and a mash of Hawkwind with some Kraftwerk thrown in, maybe

Without trawling back through the thread, I'll rely on my somewhat shaky memory and say I believe Bon Jovi haven't had a mention. Not everyone's cuppa tea but I do like some of their stuff, a favourite being............

Moonglum

Quite like both. Kin Ping Meh slightly spoilt by overuse of phasing but I do like Krautrock. Guru Guru have their moments...

I enjoyed their stuff. Too bad they don't put out any more new videos.

Here's another that I enjoy that is no longer putting out new videos.
