My initial thought was The Shadows @Newportnobby .
Now, if you like a bit of foot tapping honkey tonk guitar and keyboard you might enjoy this :

Just bear with the first couple of minutes of this clip.

Very nice but just a shame about those vocals from Steve Winwood.

True. A great instrumentalist but made Traffic also an acquired taste  :hmmm:

New Black Label Society is always good news and this one is a banger. Definitely more than a hint of Ozzyness around it especially given Zakk Wylde's ability to do Ozzy style vocals (unsuprisingly given he played with Ozzy for a long time)

Another piece of rock, but with add footage of the wonderful TT races

They got a very brief mention in this thread in 2017 but I really like their 1960s stuff so I present for your delectation............ (one of 3 x 45s I have of theirs)

Redline are not to my taste but I do rather like Canned Heat and like you, I had a few singles back in the day.
On The Road again and Let's Work Together were, and still are, favourites.

2.47 in. I think I'll stick to the Kraftwerk version, though

I have to agree, love the model railway reference, but as a huge Kraftwerk fan, this rendition just made my ears bleed.

I'm reminded of a joke my wife told me "What happens when you throw a Yukulele out of a plane?....... Who cares :) "

Moonglum

I thought we ought to do a comparison (but I liked the Ukulele version)...
