Roger Lloyd-Pack, best known as Trigger in 'Only Fools & Horses' and also as Owen Newitt in 'The Vicar of Dibley' has died aged 69.

Personally I think the funniest moments of 'Only Fools ... ' were mostly involving Trigger even though he was only in a fraction of the total episodes.

Trigger was always a firm favourite of mine, a sad loss.
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

Not only "Fools and Horses" I have seen and enjoyed his acting from Shakespeare to comedy with Dawn French at the Chichester Theatre.

I will miss his lugubrious facial expressions, his wit and his really friendly approach to his fans around the world.

A sad loss indeed, he was one of the few who I found very funny.

I always enjoyed him playing the mad farmer Owen in The Vicar of Dibley. Sad to hear he's gone.

Rumours are they'll be putting a new Trigger in the same clothes, and then at some point when the clothes wear out replacing them 8)

Actually he appeared in more episodes than all other characters except Del and Rodney, and was the only other character to be in the first and last episodes...

R.I.P. Trigger.

A large part of my childhood has past away with this fine actor.

Echo others in saying he will be greatly missed.

A really, really funny guy. I could watch every episode of Fools and Horses over and over and Trigger was a huge part of the series. RIP Trigger, Dave will miss you as we all will.
