My condolences to you and the rest of the family, Kathy. This is very sad news indeed. John had recently been helping me to build up a fairly detailed guide to building a complete model railway, and he was able to add several very useful sections of text to it. I'm really sorry that he won't be able to see the fruits of his invaluable help.

I'm so sad to hear this news, Kathy :(
As an ex Northamptonian myself, John and I had been in touch on the forum quite a bit.
