Not a lot modelling wise apart from these bits.

Etched brass side tipping wagon

mine entrance

3d printed railbus on Kato 11-103 chassis sitting on etched brass bridge.

I'm impressed by the matchstick bridges. They look fabulous.
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

Very nice bit of brasswork with that tipper. But my vote goes for the matchstick bridge.  Now I can put the box of Italian  matches to good use as they are smaller than UK matches and are NO GOOD FOR LIGHTING FIRES!!!

Nice to see you are keeping busy.

Some days its just not worth gnawing through the straps.

Thanks for the comments on the bridges.
The woodwork  in the mine entrance was also supplied by Swan Vesta.
The handrail on the footbridge is actually a cocktail stick.

Next up will be a matchstick built platform once they  come out of the colouring solution that I am  experimenting with ( Cold expresso coffee with the used bean grindings put in the solution).

Latest scratchbuilt freelance 009 project.
Mounted on a Peco 10'wagon chassis, still a work in progress.

Cheers Mick, in the  background of that photo you can just see the tender from this

This is a photo of the cab for the crane with some of the detail

Every thing apart from the chassis and the tiny bit of an old scrap Lima 0-6-0 has been scratch made from Evergreen Styrene.
The pulleys all work and the jib is hinged using tube and rod.

Crane finished

Loco finished- paintwork not pristine but unless it was a tourist line they never were.

Matchsticks. Very innovative in N gauge. In view of the scale size of a matchstick, in retrospect I am surprised this is the first use I have seen of them since joining the forum. Especially for the bridges where they are being used for what they are rather than as for fabricated raw material. Don't know if that comes over but I know what I mean.

Lovely work, the crane is amazing.
