Hi peps

I was just wondering what people`s thoughts are on this.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Automobile-Freight-Car-KU-5000-Tricolore-Color-Kato-8018-3-N-scale-/200848295685?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item2ec37dc705

Im looking at getting 3 or 4 of these car transporters but would they look out of place on a UK based layout? Any thought`s would be more then welcome.

Thanks
Dunk

You could fill them with Nissan cars all the way from Sunderland

They would certainly look the part behind an EF65 with a rake of WAMU8000 box vans... :P

These wagons are often part of an automotive train, as opposed to motorails (which are bogie box vans) and will in a consist with box vans, containers or large Carparts vans...

;D ;D

Duncan, they are on ebay uk for about £26 a pair plus a couple of quid shipping, given they are going to cost probably £20 a pair from plaza inc shipping and you are unlucky enough to get caught by the royal Mail & Customs, you might be as well as getting the ebay UK ones as you will have VAT and the RM handling charge on top.  If you buy two pairs he might even do you a deal
