Recovering shopping trolleys perhaps! ;)

Since when did shopping trolleys have covers? :D
Cheers, Trev.

Time flys like an arrow, fruit flies like a banana!

There ain't no shopping trolleys in the pic, I assure you. I was sitting on em in the bus shelter  :D

Either exhuming or burying a local gangster (the latter being alive at the time, of course)? :hmmm:

The absurd aspect of the whole shabang is that they were ripping up the central traffic strip. I thought great, fill it up with concrete and maybe a fence.

This morning, I see they have reinstalled the central well and planted new plants with crisp pine bark.

Looks great, except that they won't maintain it and it'll be an embarrassment yet again. :veryangry:

Anyway, I got this shot last night. Aussie flag and moon, as seen from bustop.

I was out at Dapto the other day getting the car cleaned, and was reminded of recent posts by @maridunian

Here's the Aussie version:

Shortly after this, the main line from Sydney turns to single track!

Visitors from New Zealand.

Had a nice weekend just gone, meeting up with my school mate and his wife. Unfortunately, he has got dementia pretty badly, and I think his wife brought him over to make sure we met up again. This is the guy who has been to 100 racecourses worldwide!

Here we are at a lookout over Wollongong. He looks in a lot better shape than Bealman, but unfortunately he is not well.

He used to love cricket, so we took him to the Sir Donald Bradman museum in Bowral, which he liked.

His Geordie wife enjoys a drink and gets on well with Mrs B, so we had a good time. I took them to the airport via the scenic route, and this time, the loonies were actually jumping off the cliff:

lovely that you got to catch up with your old mate.

I did get this cool pic of him with The Don, though.

Glad your having a great time with your friends. Super shot just missing the cricket bat

It's funny. I'm sitting in the bowlo watching a bunch of Aussie blokes I know quite well playing bowls. It dawned on me that they take it as seriously as Poms take darts  ;D
