A different bus stop.

An LGL (Leisurely Gentleman's Lunch) today, and being eager to get there, left early and walked down the street a bit to the next stop.



Lunch good, though I was told that next year it will not be LGL anymore, but GPS (Gentleman's Private Symposium)

Ah well, I don't care, as long as VB is involved

I see you have the dreaded green wheelie bins on your side of the planet as well (I am visiting the UK this week and am observing the street wild life )! Are they domesticated or do they run free and wild in their herds?

In all fairness, Colin, it was bin night on Wednesday and I'd only just brought ours in before I walked to the bus stop. So I'll let them off this time. They've been brought in, I noticed this morning.

Not the bus stop, but there are a couple of visitors to Chez Bealman every morning. Even in Christmasy colours!

Of course the Christmas lights had to go up out the front, didn't they. I blame that bloody Home Alone film for that. I'll have to drag 'em all down in a couple of weeks! Bah humbug.

At the moment it sure is, Mark. But like you, I'm looking forward to that southerly.

Southerly came through at about 9pm last night fortunately, went from 41^o to 23^o in an hour. Was great timing as it made sleeping so much easier, especially as I had to be up at 5 to get to the airport for the wife's best friend arriving from the UK.

Yeah, the cool breeze is hitting here now.
