In this modern age I still purchase a wall calendar each year, and every year it's the Heritage Collection one. All the pics are of steam in the 1930s to 1960s and are all black & white pics.
There is definitely a slight bias towards LNER/ER motive power, methinks

Those who, like me, have medical appointments quite a long way off may tend to buy theirs early hence mine turning up today :)

I always buy the Hornby magazine issue with the 'free' calendar but forgot to look for it this year. I've just looked online and it may be that they're not doing it this year. The December issue appears to have a 'free' industrial backscene and the November issue a 'free' scalescenes OO wash plant kit. I'm sure they are both very nice but I can't really use it to see what day it is can I?

Does anyone know any different as to whether they are doing it for 2025? I'm going to send Mrs Trainish out tomorrow to hunt it down to see if this is the case.

Hi John
If Mrs Trainfish has no luck

Google hornby magazine calendars or backcopies there's a few organisations that can be found who may be able to stock / sell back copy issues.

Key model world, buy mags direct,  key publishing,  news stand, pocketmags etc

Trainfish

Sorry to be blunt but don't you think I've already done that? The clue is where I wrote "I've just looked online" in my response to Mick's post.

It may surprise you to hear that Google isn't a new thing, we've all been using it for years.

Yes. I noticed. Just being helpful and I did not want to post long links, just pointing you in
An alternative direction if the good wife cannot see any calendars on her shopping trip. I also didn't know whether you knew of the places to find back copies. I'm sure one will find the calendar

Good luck

Maybe try WH Smith or Calendar Club  :D
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Is stating the obvious a Devon thing?

Mystery solved. After spending far too much time looking for the calendar I went to the Hornby magazine FaecesBook page, not even suggested by the usual suspect, and found the line "sorry, we aren't producing a calendar this year".

So now I'm calendarless. I don't want a kettle calendar, ideally I want a calendar of model railways, not real ones. Any ideas without posting 5000 character hyperlinks?

If I don't find one then I may have to search for a suitable one which relates to one of my many 'other' interests outside of modelling

I got a calendar with my copy of BRM.  They were also giving them out at the NEC show in the free goody bag

Trainfish

I saw the BRM calendar earlier and may have to give it another look
