I'm having similar issues too, but it's early days since the new forum came online, so hopefully this will be sorted.

Just got an alert when you posted this, but it's not  a topic I started.

I'm confused  :hmmm:

Just to say that I've never had an email alerting me to a reply to a topic that I had started since I joined many, many moons ago, only other ones I've replied to.

So how did you know if someone had posted a reply ?

Press 'updated topics' top right. Shows new posts you've replied to and used to show your own if someone had replied but saying that, I haven't posted on my own threads since the revamp so don't know if that works.

Hope helps.

Ed

'Updated Topics' doesn't show anything, I just use 'Unread Posts'

On each displayed page of a thread, where the reply button is there is also a Receive Alerts button, click on this to find other options one is Email and Alerts

Ah, gotcha. It appears to have defaulted to 'No Alerts or Emails' so I've changed it to 'Receive Emails and Alerts'.

Thanks for this

The picture editor is still rubbish! Any chance of an upgrade?

since the 'upgrade' etc, all seems to be changed. used to be able to stay logged in.

mind you, probably no real problem, seem to be finding everything more difficult, so instead of staying in all the time, pop in every couple of days or so, a quick look through some treads, them log out again

progress  :hmmm:

I logged in once after the upgrade (I made sure to select to log in "forever") and my session has remained logged in ever since, no problems.  Exactly the same as it used to before the upgrade, as is the vast majority of the forum functionality that I've always used.

just logged in, only offered up to 1 month, forever seems to have disappeared, and see there is a message icon in front of the time/date of my post, but when I checked my messages, no new message.
what is that ?

also, noted the each message seemed to have a green bar at the dottom of the sender's info below 'reacted'. don't remember that before.

I'm a professional Luddite so bear with me.

Is this the "new" forum or the interim forum? I've just noticed I've lost all my thread alerts. This seems to be a very low resolution version, the font takes me back to Sinclair ZX81 days.
