That can identify this bird?





Quite a plucky little sod.....Saw off two Magpies! :o

Partridge.

Very tasty, challenging little blighter to shoot. Often in a small group (covey).

Currently out of season for shooting.

At first I thought it was a Hen Pheasant but the tail was too short.

Have to say it was amusing watching it stand up against the two Magpies!  :D
