I have a pair of these. They have no trouble stripping 7/.02 droppers upto domestic size 2.5mm conductors.  Wouldn't be without them.
Screwfix item 97204  C.K. wire stripper.
(Sorry, for some reason it won't let me put a direct link)
Cheers, Trev.

I use a similar product branded Sealey - does a great job.

Railwaygun

an old pair of nail cutters work well for small wires - you can put a notch in them by practising on a piece of point solenoid wire!

I've had a number of wire strippers, but always end up just using a pair of side cutters or small pliers and going by 'feel'

Works for me!  :uneasy:

Why is DCC wire different from DC wire?  :confused2:

It isn't. But DCC decoder wire - typically 32 gauge/0.2mm - is too fine for most wire strippers.

I just use a generic auto stripper for most wires

For the super thin decoder wires I use the one sold by DccConcepts, a bit pricy because they use the super rare blue for the handles :) I am sure similar and much cheaper are available from the usual suppliers of such things
