I have various types of wire strippers, but find the DCC Concepts ones the best for fine wires. With the screw adjuster set correctly every wire of the same size will strip the same with no faffing about.

I've used this style previously, but not for railway modelling work

...and the 30013 is 0.25mm to 0.8mm.

I have various types of wire stripper, from the simple side cutter types through screw adjustable ones to complex automatic ones, but to be honest I find I just use the cutter part of my favourite snipe nose pliers and do it by feel (usually already got those pliers in my hand anyway), or for very fine decoder and LED wire the good old Mk I front teeth do the job brilliantly  :D  The screw-adjustable ones may come out if I'm stripping a whole bunch of multi-core to solder up a D-sub connector.

That's all very well if you have teeth :)

I use these, had them for 30+ years. There are cheap copies out there in other colours but they're not a patch on the RS originals.

Actually, search 'wire strippers' using the forum search function, and there's heaps of stuff, dating back almost to the start of the forum.
