Just wondered if it was possible to put a button at the Bottom of the page that, with one click takes you straight back to the Top of the page.
I am one of those who have availed themselves of the option to have the maximum posts per page (can't remember how I did it mind you) so some pages can be huge for me now.
Yes I'm being lazy but it was just a thought

Umm...

...there's already a button at the bottom of each thread, next to the 'next page, 1,2,3' etc. that says "GO UP".

This takes you to the top of the thread. Or do you mean something different?

It's already there for individual threads but not Forum/sub-forum pages...

not quite - Page-Up will take you upwards in steps, CTRL+HOME will take you direct to the top of the page but of course that's not available on a tablet or phone...

Really? I'm duller than a 10W bulb today, I wonder if that IPA spill I had in the shed earlier has anything to do with it, nah, just dull

Just HOME does it for me on my Windows machine. Are you using a Mac or summat?

'Go up' only takes me to the top of the thread whereas the 'Home' button on my laptop takes me to the top of the page so I can just click on 'Show all unread posts' again

Yeah, "Go up" does only take you to the top of the thread, but that's far enough for me - from there, unread posts ain't far above it. Sure beats scrolling all the way from the bottom, which in Lawrence's case is one helluva scroll, I guess.

But hey, he is Scottish, good at telling long stories
