D'you like this thin white line I've drawn with one of my left legs?

The buzzing was finally traced to the new type of sound decoder fitted to the loco

Am I glad to get out of that cab! I'll get on to the union, I will. Why did I give up that job licking jam out of sandwiches just to drive trains?

Tried to print out a few of my card kits (fortunately on plain paper) to try a scratch build special but the colour cartridge has just expired- instead of red bricks and brown timber they are coming out purple.
Still it has meant the paper printouts can be cut and shut without worrying too  much, need to rethink the original idea.(need head scratching smiley)
Modelling stupid small scale using T gauge track and IDl induction track. Still have  N gauge but not the space( Japanese Trams) Excuse spelling errors please, posting on mobile phone

Ok not tonight but this morning finally finished my Scalescenes platform! really tested the old rheumies on the platform ledges and what with nessecary trips to catch up on some of the calming fluid  :beers:  has taken far longer than I had hoped.

As I wanted to be able to lift the structure for now I had to deviate from the instructions for fitting base to top.

Carefully wheighted, NewportNobby might recognise the "TPM", the snooker trophy dates from when I could see reasonably well!

particuarly pleased with the platform end,

Finally 2 views

The curve on the end was achieved using my Father in laws draughting curves (part of my inheritance!)

The open end on the left will embed on the yet to be created grass bank that will run down the side of the track.

Now for the next project but first a or two!

Looks the business. What did you use for the surface card or wood ?. I have only got as far as the (scalescenes) platform walls, glued to wood and last week tried card for the surface but not sure if I am using the right material.
Some days its just not worth gnawing through the straps.

That looks really good MinZaPint . I do believe you have earned a pint of refreshing nourishment :beers:

Thanks lads

Jerry I printed the sheets on A4 label paper, used Carling beer box card for the sides and bracing, then mounted the top on card from a box received from the Gas Cupboard with some goodies in it! So no idea of thickness but I would say sides medium card and top heavy. Right on to the station building, have a feeling thats going to try my patience, better stock up on the calming fluid!

Last night actually, but i spent nearly three hours researching on t'internet.

I have planty of photos of the station building i am modelling from the front, but none from the platform side! No images on Google, so sat watching train videos on youtube.  Finally found what i needed as a glmpse in a panning shot of an hst arriving on platform 4. So, a big thank you to all those people who film trains all day and then post them on the searchy-web-thingumyjig for us all to see.

I now have the photoshop work done and printed out, and card construction can proceed.
