Is there something in the water?  :smiley-laughing: I've been stripping wallpaper off the bathroom walls tonight. Paper them tomorrow and paint them on Sunday.

Taking this weekend into account I don't think you were the first to utter these words to the almighty   :smiley-laughing:

Completely relaid my fiddle yard giving me more flexibility and a straight through running line behind the scenes.
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Fixed some hedges to the side of the road on my layout, completed the wiring for my station lights and added a few more people. :)

Some days its just not worth gnawing through the straps.

How pictures show up the failings. Now I really need to start on the ballasting but there is so much more to be done.

Trying to get the bodyshell of my Dapol hst dummy power car to sit right onto the chassis after fitting the ESU Loksound v4.0micro decoder.
Will it go on right?
Will it heckers like.
Had a look in the shell and theres a part moulded in to the shell that I think clips onto the groove on the chassis.I think I'm gonna take some of it away with the dremel and see if that helps it sit down better.
It sits down ok at the guards end,not at the cab end.I may also need to take another millimeter off the chassis top as well for good measures.
Then I will get another loksound for my other hst dummy power car.
I'm not bothering to fit the powered power car with a sound chip now,too much of a pain,so I'll probably get a couple of ct sound only decoders off John Yoochoos and put em in the coach nearest to the power car and fit a digitrax dz125in chip in the power car and have done with it.
I've cut my fingers almost to ribbons filing and cutting the chassis to get the thing in.
Still, happy days, for such a small thing,it sounds wonderful. It won't rattle your teeth out or make you jump, but the notching up,turbo whistle is a lovely sound and once the old tabs are tuned to it,it sounds ace.I love it.
Might be worth all the pain and hassle in the end.
Going to York Model Railway Show later today, might be tempted to buy a sound chip for a dmu, just for the purpose of seeing how hard or easy it is to fit.Although I'm not looking forward to removing the bodyshell on the 101/108's though. On the other hand,I have got a Dapol bubble car which I may see if it'll fit in there easy enough.
