Can anyone help me source some road vehicles appropriate to West Wales in the 1930s, please?  All I have found is a Langley Austin 7.

P&D Marsh do a few, bullnose morris for example. http://www.pdmarshmodels.com/product_list.php?gauge='N'&cat2='70'

There's a HUGE list of vehicle manufacturers here: http://www.spur-n.com/ in the 'Enzyklopadie N-Autos' section. And I mean HUGE!

Hope it helps...

There are also some Oxford Diecast vehicles that are suitable for the 1930s. Their web site has a section listing vehicles by era: https://www.oxforddiecast.co.uk/collections/by-era?constraint=1-148+era-1930 which is helpful.

The R. Parker kits are very good, and well worth looking at.

I've found this website: https://www.uniquecarsandparts.com.au/car_spotters_guide_europe_1939
very useful for getting an idea of what was around. Note that that link says 1939, but there is a not-very-obvious drop-down menu that lets you choose other years over quite a wide range.

No MOT testing in the 1930s and lots of small garage workshops so vehicles were kept going for longer. Anything previous to the 1930s could conceivably still be running, especially in rural Wales...

Scale Link do some 20s/30s white metal kits similar in quality to the R. Parker ones.

Best regards,

Joe
