I have been trying to upload pictures between 01:00 and 02:00 this morning and in the last hour and the sites progress is almost glacial, which is a nuisance as I have written a tutorial about N brass bogies ant the pictures are part of it and I cannot post it until these are loaded.

It's 9.30pm here in downunderland and things have started slowing up. I can't do much about it personally (Tank is on it, see post at top of forum ), but I still wonder about traffic density. :hmmm:

Having typed this, it's suddenly super quick!   :worried:

My download speed is normally around 90M, but forum loading is always much slower than the majority of other sites.

Hi

Tried to up load some pics to a post at 16.22. Nothing happened, so left site.

I have only just been able to get back onto the site - 16.34 it just hung for the intervening time.

Hope this helps

After waiting 20 minutes for a image to upload I resorted to Photobucket again today, :( ,something is not right in the NGF server world. :'(

I've noticed for a little while now that the website is taking some time to load (not uploading / downloading anything). Very occasionally it will time out!

Are people who are having problems with the site having problems with any other site? I have been having problems loading the NGF site for a couple of weeks - I usually get the mesage that the site took too long to respond. However, I am having problems with other sites, but it seems to be a totally random thing. I live in a very rural part of Ireland and up/download speeds have never been brilliant, although they are much better when I log on at work, (using the same browser (Google), the same dongle and the same laptop). And yet, sometimes, I can download a problem site pretty quickly. I have tried using Firefox without any noticeable difference, so I am at a loss to explain what the problem is. I must admit, it is getting  :censored: annoying, but, as I say, it is not just the NGF site.

Addit:  :censored: amazing, from hitting the 'save' buton to getting the above post on the site took about 3 seconds!!  :confused2:

I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.
