We shouldn't let the :censored: who perpetrate this sort of thing get the better of us, but our collective fear will go up a notch all round the world I expect and regret. This is exactly what they want.

Having been in London during the IRA bombings and the more recent tube attacks, I can relate to the horror that is taking place.

It is great to know that people we know, on the forum, are safe.

Dreadful news of atrocities once again. Heart felt sympathy goes out to people involved.

I'm sure much of the money hacked from internet bank accounts is making it's way to fund these groups. Certainly during our own Irish conflict in the 70s funding was being raised through drugs. A good mate on the drugs squad told me this at the time, yet it took several years to become common knowledge. Perhaps sometime soon the authorities will wake up and take cyber crime/security much more seriously and do something positive, other than just words. I'll screw my neck in now guys!

A terrible and cowardly act terrorism. I was in Guildford that Saturday evening when The Horse and Groom was blown up back in 74, I felt the shock of the blast a quarter of a mile away, not long after some people boarded my bus still dazed and crying with specks of blood on their clothes, a horrid memory that has stayed with me.

We had a very close friend and neighbour who survived the tube bombing, she was actually in one of the carriages that was blown up, her nerves were ripped to shreds it has taken her years to be able to speak without a stammer.

And to think that our beloved and trusty Police service is yet to undergo more cuts.......That's Scary!  :worried:
