Sounds OK for some of you lot out there, it only gives me 9 which would make it 90, but with an outside chance of 7% for making the ton. My mother made it to 97, her younger brother to 93, oldest brother only managed 88, but then he did get gassed in WW1.

OMG - I'd better crack on with my layout then!!

It is of course way overly simplistic just using 2 variables.

But for a laugh I gave it a go anyway and am very perturbed to discover that my chances of reaching 115 are so insignificantly small as to be zero. On the up-side, I'm almost guaranteed to reach 1.15 tomorrow (which is just over 2 hours away as I write this).

But will the extra worry I just put into that little exercise, and its results, shorten my life?

I'll let you know if I don't make it past 1.15 tomorrow morning. Somehow.

 

It says I'll reach 86 and I can collect my pension at 88. How does that work then?!?

Edit: Erm, forget that, I read the graph wrong. It says I have an 88% chance of collecting my pension. Phew.

The one big problem with that is that it doesn't take into account long term illness such as Diabetes for example.

With the only variables being age and sex, it doesn't take anything into account. But it's still funny.
