I remember on my way to Tennessee being sat in a 747 in a holding pattern over Chicago in a massive thunderstorm.
Cabin crew and everyone was strapped in and the plane dropped like a stone. When the stewardesses screamed that's when I thought "This is it. I guess this is when I find out what it's like to be a fly hitting a car windscreen" :dighole:

For this evening/tonight and to begin with on Saturday morning the weather persons are now offering us local  widespread  flash flooding which will be a pleasant (?) change from all this heat :(

Just back from the docs with extra steroids to help the breathing and some Tramadol for pain relief for the chest pain :censored:

Thank God for  Steroids I say, although I only take them when desperate solutions are needed.
I have checked to make sure my stock of them is current in my emergency kit that the doc. lets me keep at home in readyness

Our little lane is like a Tractor n Trailer Grand Prix circuit what with the farmers getting as much hay in before the threatened deluge.

Blue the cat is staying well away from the 10 foot high hedge between us n them!
