Our has a white dot in the centre of the screen when you turn it off,
Ah, I remember those - wipes tear of nostalgia from eye, , ,

My TVs seem to be growing in size in inverse proportion to my ability to see them !
And also in inverse proportion to the stuff worth watching :(

Thank goodness for Dads Army repeats.
(ducks and runs for cover )
I've got one of these Smart TVs. - but its not smart enough to turn off when there's rubbish on. I agree about Dad's army - you could watch those for ever. Not a sign of smut, just innocent humour. Another goodie is last of the summer wine. I don't think Mr Splod could have seen these wonderful progs.
:)
Size matters - especially if you don't have a lot of space - and N gauge is the answer!

Whilst I always appreciate friendly banter I sincerely hope that the persons involved in this tete a tete will not be too unhappy if sometimes their own threads are hijacked?

By all means continue but beware!

Peter.
Each can do but little, BUT if each did that little, ALL would be done!

Life is like a new sewer pipe, what you get out of it depends on what you put into it!

A day without laughter is a day wasted!

Zogbert Splod

Wow! The stuff you can learn on here. I never knew that Esther Rantzen was a funny shaped vegetable...
"When in trouble, when in doubt, run (trains) in circles..." etc.
There, doesn't that feel better?
Lovely!

I think you can get arrested for saying things like that Mr. Splod. I always thought she was a very nice lady. I really had no interest in what she did with her funny shaped vegetables. They taste just as good as normal shaped vegetables.
A funny shaped vegetable counts just as well as one of your 5 a day. Just remember that!!!
