Went on hols for 3 weeks and not a train in sight, but travelled on this several times, runs every 5 minutes or so!

Several people on here will know where this was, one in particular!

I reckon Blackpoo or Tenerife but on second thoughts it's probably not Blackpoo after all.

I am in Mallorca which has metro, suburban trains, the famous Palma to Soller railway (using 1929 electric railcars hauling wooden bodied coaches), and the Soller to port de Soller tramway.  A lot of rail activities for a small island. The railroad shop at Soller has tram models and the old 1929 electric unit models, including a multimedia  1/24 scale tram kit which looks very good built up.

Also available in the UK it seems.

Tenerife, it runs from Santa Cruz to La Laguna up in the hills, lovely old town but it can be cold and wet up there, on a nice day it's well worth a visit.

For those that haven't seen the Soller railway and tram, we went there about 14 years ago and here's a little video I put together of our ride.

Thanks for the video Caz. We are doing a Bunyola - Soller round trip tomorrow, so have the spectacular views to look forward to. Will try to go easy on the pastries and pies in Soller which always seem so enticing!
