Try searching on "waterproof blue tooth speaker's".. Then list highest price first...£120 for £6 stick on shower speaker...now that is truly madness !!

Came across this on eBay... It is for one 1970 free toy (the two pics are just of both sides) out of a Cornflakes packet. Apparently a collectors' item!

I'm not sure if this is N gauge so probably best to put it here. Anyway, how about this magnificent example of a bus. It says die cast but looking at the base I'd say it was made of wood. I'm sure if Antique Toys had listed it then it would be kit built by CJM etc

Fairly certain that it is a Graham Avis resin model. it is more accurate to scale than either the Oxford Diecast or Graham Farish N Guy Arab Utility buses. I have seen a lot worse.

A few days back a peco or G/f planked wagon went for....£21 !!!   It had something like Winchcombe coal co. Glos on the side. Nice little wagon but I was left jaw dropped when it went for this amount.

A constant source of amusement is ebay...what some people place a second hand item on for whilst it is still widely available new. And of course the buy it now. You can have 24k of listings, select auction only and you are often lucky to get 3k items. Bargains on ebay are much scarcer these days.

The logic behind much Ebay bidding is baffling, understandable when an
item is no longer available but when s/h items go for the same as new
it seems crazy. I agree the bargains on Ebay are much scarcer nowadays,
although a week ago I got a blood'n'custard coach for £10, described as used
but probably never been out of the box  with the end doors and vacuum pipes
still in a little plastic bag. There are still a few bargains but harder to find.

Ebay isn't what it used to be. Now before I buy anything there I do a general google search for the item and quite often can find the same thing as cheap or cheaper

Silly prices on ebay extend's to my other hobby namely old Land Rovers. Many a time I've seen
items sell for silly money but, do a little research and you find the same items stocked and sold
from main outlets and dealers in Land Rover spares/parts at a cheaper price new

It seems that some people will never learn
