Was hugely tempted for a Cream/Umber set.

Then the car, just 4 years old, decided to sulk. Garage estimate up to £1500 and a week to fix.  :'(

Ah, modern technology! Don't ya just hate it!?  >:D

Just had the same with my 5 year old car :

Bad news : Repair bill £1588

Good News : All fixed now

Better News : Had already pre-ordered my umber/cream Brighton Belle! :bounce:

Please share what types of cars these are.  I want to make sure I never buy one!   :o

I was advised by my garage that the cambelt was due for replacement when I booked it in for its service/MOT. Cost of the lot being over £700 with the cambelt accounting for over half. Apparently the diesel Sciroccos have rubber cambelts  but the petrol ones are metal - anyone know why this is?

I was considering changing my car anyway so decided to bring that forward by a few months so yesterday drove out my nearly new Scirocco after getting a very good deal from my garage.

Had to swerve sharply to avoid a car whose driver somehow decided they had the right of way  :censored: even though the parked cars were on their side of the road and kerbed one of the alloys  Probably cost about £120 to fix (by the time I have driven to the wheel specialists, caught the train back etc). Had the tyre checked out because a very small amount of rubber was shaved off and fortunately it is still safe to drive.
Just one Pendolino, give it to me, a beautiful train, from Italy

Do you think they are trying to tell you something?    :D

Have you hugged your locomotive today.

More Ugh than Eek George but at least it's working (I hope).

My 4 year old Peugeot 5008 THP has had a series of sensor problems and a replacement timing chain, all under warranty.

The current round of faults includes a whole set of timning sensors and probably needs yet another chain PLUS new water pump and reservoir. The Peugeot dealer recommends we complain to Peugeot and that the car is sold on as soon as possible.  :censored:

This is why I decided to change my car - had not got these faults but was advised that the parts should be replaced
