Football all over the telly... what better reason for cracking out the Babylon 5 DVDs!
In surround sound so you can pick up all the "hidden" snippets of conversation JMS built-into the series !

Either B5 or FarScape ...  :D  Either is far better than watching 18 massively over-paid prats messing about & over-acting like they're on Crossroads for 90 minutes ...  8)

As Mick said earlier, if you don't like football then why bother to read/post on this thread  ::) and mess it up for the rest of us.

I am the Mod that likes football so happy to read all of the posts  :)
Just one Pendolino, give it to me, a beautiful train, from Italy

I repeat......Rather watch Iran v Nigeria than an evening of the Babylon 5..... are they a new middle eastern boy band ?.. anyway the footie game is so exciting at 0-0 Half time and the BBC analysis is spellbinding.... it cant possibly get any worse can it  ???

I've really enjoyed the World Cup so far with some great games and some unexpected results.
Shame about Neville's "commentary/summarising" for the England game though!
Problem this afternoon though with the Germany v Portugal game having to take second place to the end of the Cricket Test which was absolutely nail biting.

My prediction is that England WILL qualify with wins in the final two group matches.
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

The Cricket was great.... Should have declared a bit earlier ?... could rename this thread to general Sports Enthusiasts

I've recorded the cricket so please don't say too much :worried:

As for those who don't like the footie - as Donald Sutherland said in Kelly's Heroes "Don't come at me with them negative waves"
Kindly keep out of this thread rather than slag it off :stop:

Geoff

Well I have had to miss one match tonight, and I am upset her indoors got her own way but I caught the Germany game, that was pretty much one sided, shame the portugese guy took the law into hiw own hands, just spoilt the game.

Superb bit of acting by Muller. He ought to be on the stage (there's one leaves in 10 minutes :-X) At the least he should have been yellow carded for diving :veryangry:
Pepe should never have responded like that, though

sparky

Pepe has previous.. being unable to control himself cost the Portugese what ever slim chances they had from 2 down... I bet Captain Christiano didn't lend him his bottle of fake tan after showering

Any team that can wipe the smug 'I am Portugal' smile off Ronaldo's face gets my vote

Good Film Kelly's Heros - the whole family enjoyed it when it was on, and I did record it, but lost the recording when we emigrated.

What that man said ... HEAR HEAR, HEAR HEAR (or is it here here, here here?) anyway, you all know what I mean. Hopefully we won't see him prancing around on adverts so much if Portugal don't make it past the also rans stage.

I got 5 out of 16 tips in the first round. I think I've waved bye bye to me $20 already, methinks. Anyway I've gone for Brazil again.
