For those not into footie why even bother reading/posting in this thread? :P
I'm no great fan but I have watched nearly every game (with no care who wins) apart from those beyond my bedtime.

Regrettably, as a mod I have to read every post so can't ignore the thread.   :(

Leave it with me then, Caz :D

By the way is anyone modelling any Brazilian railways, now that would be fun to see a model train going past a stadium or something like that.

Wishful thinking.

Do not worry Caz the world cup is not on forever.

Don't model one on the Qatar 2022 world Cup, they don't have trains. It will be purely fictional. Then again, it might become purely fictional for entirely different reasons anyway!

If you do decide to model it, then at least the landscaping will be easy. Flat baseboard with a bucket of sand poured over it  :smiley-laughing:

Strangely enough I am currently working through a collection of DVDs entitled
"The Worlds Greatest Railway Journeys - North & South America, Canada & Australasia".
It consists of 8 DVDs, and was lent to me by a neighbour here.
I already have the "Western & Central Europe" set (again 8 DVDs), but there is also another one - "Eastern Europe, Africa, and Asia".

One of the DVDs in the set I am viewing covers Brazil, Cuba, and Mexico.

All excellent quality videos produced by an American company with an American narrator, and if anyone is interested the company Website is "www.musicbank.co.uk"

Some years ago I recorded all the episodes of "Making Tracks" - a BBC production,
and I have currently lent this out to the neighbour who lent me the current DVD set I am watching. Quality not very good though as it was originally recorded on VHS and since copied to DVD, but that program featured railways from all round the World as well as many of the lines in the U.K. Bob Symes (a model railway enthusiast) was the presenter along with someone else whose name I forget, and Bob Symes also did a Xmas Channel 4 program about model railways which I also recorded.

A Brentford fan living in Manchester? Whatever next, a Man Ure fan living in Brentford? It's possible I suppose.

Did you not watch the half time entertainment in the Argie game then Steve?

Hahaha, unfortunate not, been on earlies from thursday through til tomorrow. All matches have been sky+'d anyway, so I'll catch it on there when i get chance.

Steven
I like to start each day the same, sit up and take a deep breath!
