Aware that the air seems different today - can almost taste something dusty/chemical-like and it is irritating the back of my throat. :worried:
Just one Pendolino, give it to me, a beautiful train, from Italy

My breathing was certainly bad on Sunday and Monday but it wasn't to bad yesterday when I went to the doctors. Today it feels quite good but maybe I`ll take others advice and stay indoors

I'd love to stay indoors all day, could get some serious track alterations sorted them!
But somebody has to keep the real trains running! I'm in at 1300 for a rest day work, travel passenger Nottingham-Lincoln, work a train back and go home! I'll take 9 hours 15 mins pay for 'working' 2 hours 45 mins.....

It's a hard life! ;-)

:veryangry: and then they complain about civil servants and local govt workers getting a fortune for doing nothing. My son works 12 hour shifts 4 nights on 4 nights off and never gets more than flat rate if he works additional hours or his working day falls on a public holiday.

No wonder that rail fares are so high if this type of thing is still going on. And then to boast about it just rubs the salt in to the wound  :veryangry:
My layout Much Puffindun can be seen at http://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?topic=17426.msg173415#msg173415

Sorry Maurits71 i may have confused you and other readers. My son does not work for local govt but has a 'proper job' working in the food industry. I worked for local govt and got sick and fed up of the 'get a proper job' remarks from the great public and media. If the public servants weren't there doing there job, however obscure it would seem the country would grind to a halt.

Moderators perhaps I should have posted this on the Angry thread rather than risk hijacking this one.

Back on topic for a moment. Both of my cars are covered in a very fine dust. It also rained just a little earlier meaning that I now have dirty streaks running down the sides! At least it gives the young girl down the road a job, I pay her £5 to clean each car  :D

And speaking of proper jobs, I'm off for an interview in the next hour or so
