At the time (1967, for Heavens sake) I was right into Triang 00 and desperately wanted a slot car racing set.... but Minic was touted as being 00 scale, and when they brought out car racing sets, I thought "Ooh - there's the answer.... combine the two!"

Anyway -  along time ago in a galaxy far, far away.

And no. I never wore flowers in me hair and didn't go to San Francisco 'til 2005. 

I did tell a little fib: I have ran the Minic car racing set since I brought it to Aus, but the cars are throwing all sorts of stuff from pickups and brushes. I have decided on getting my railway going again, so Minic is consigned to the cupboard.
