The weather took a back seat this morning when the fully laden fridge decided to die  :worried: resulting in mad dash to buy a cheap replacement..................which nearly ended up taking valuable room in my man cave until I skilfully diverted it into the lounge

Anyway have a great Christmas everyone

Stuart

Poor Bart.  I shed a tear for you; no not really I was peeling onions.

However, having spent quite a few years in the RAAF and then Customs I sympathise with you having to work Christmas cause I worked my fair share.

Kind regards

Geoff
Have you hugged your locomotive today.

To one and all have a great day and I wish you all a Merry Christmas, let the festivities begin  :beers:

I see that Father Christmas ran on time last night

http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/S73184/2013/12/24/advanced

so here's hoping that everyone got the presents they wanted and have a wonderful day of overeating, drinking, Dr Who and no arguments with the in-laws and/or relatives etc.

For those you may live alone, not always the elderly, I hope that this day is not too bad for you.  There is a wonderful community here so perhaps you could think of us as your family?

Nigel.

Off now to see where Santa hid my new PS3?

Although it's only 8.10 am which still qualifies as night in our house Happy Christmas everyone.

If you forgot to put the sprouts on to simmer in August it's too late now and you'll have to go with frozen peas now instead.

Merry Christmas everyone, I think Santa has left a pile of stuff under the tree, how quickly dare I retreat to the railway room :D

Cheers everyone. :beers:

Tomorrow earliest.

Today's for doing your unselfish Christmas duty which may mean getting bored by about 2.30 but it's what's expected.

9.30 am and no sign of the local kids excitedly riding new bikes, falling over on new roller skates and skateboards, or pushing new dolls in dolls prams, or even running radio controlled beach buggies into kerbs.

Oops. Forgot it's 2013. All indoors starting a 14 hour session on Alien Wars Death Task Destruction 9.

Merry Christmas.

We've been luckier than some. Our power is back on. Thinking of those without power or with an unexpected water feature.
