Hello Everyone

It is already Christmas Eve here in Australia and just one more sleep till Christmas then it is over for another 365 days (hooray).

Just being down at the local shopping mall.  Got there at 0730 hrs to pick up the turkey and some other items and it was reasonably quiet but by the time I left an hour later to say it was bedlam would imply some degree of order.

Lovely old ladies with trolleys were absolute murder.  Get in their way and you wound up under the trolley believe me.  No mercy or quarter given.

Anyway have a great time with your love ones and friends over Christmas and in the New Year may you run without derailments.

PS It is going to be 34 deg C here on Christmas Day.  I am delicate little flower so I will probably wilt!
Have you hugged your locomotive today.

34 deg Centigrade huh ?  It's a lot like that here except its about 34 deg Farenheit with 90 mph winds and driving rain. People are getting washed away in swollen rivers, trees are coming down across roads, trains are being cancelled, and there are power cuts galore. Just like it looks on Christmas cards.

At least we won't get beach sand in the turkey dinner.

Same in Qld.
One bonus is you just have to wrap turkey and ham in al-foil and pop out in full sun to cook. :)

Have a good time folks from this side of the pond, only 90mph winds here with a lot of people without power, who with which have had to leave there homes so no Christmas for them.

All the very best to one and all.

Ever had the feeling the Australian contingent on here are rubbing our noses in it slightly, and complaining how cold it is down under at 27 degrees.  :hmmm: Also had and email from my friend in New Zealand saying he was looking forward in going to the beach Christmas day.

Can't hang around here all day got to go and get my sou'wester on and tie down the garden furniture  :rain:

Merry Christmas to all on NGF in every part of the world...have a good one.
People say I'm small minded and live in my own little world; maybe their right!

I don't like the hot weather either - and it's just started raining lightly here, which is OK with me!
