I just got a call from Bill at intermountain and he has stated that they were evacuated from their building due to the flooding in Colorado.
When he left the building they had about a foot of water in the lower section and they have had 18 more inches since then.
They moved everything possible to the upper floors and think the water may be contained to the lower offices and machine shop area.
They will likely be able to assess the damage as soon as the police let them go back in.
As soon as they can the office will re-open if they have electric and phone lines.
They have no means of contact until further notice so please be patient.

I saw this disaster on the news tonight, Mike.
Whilst obviously hoping the building survives intact, of more importance are the folks involved.

They all had plenty of time to get out and all employees are fine. They do not know but the building had potential of 26 inches of water on the lower floor ( mostly machines and some offices). A lot of stuff was able to be moved upstairs.

As Mick said Mike at least everyone got out ok, I am sure the insurance will cover the rest and they will be up and running again in no time.

Curiously, sometimes events like this allow companies to rearrange and bring in new equipment so maybe we can expect to see even greater things in the future.

I have been watching the flooding on the news and that is a terrific amount of water to deal with.  My heart goes out to everyone affected as there is absolutely nothing you can do when faced with flooding like that, especially when there is so much debris being carried along with it.

Yes and here in all of the southwest we have had sooo many fires there is nothing to hold back some of this water.

I've been at our place in Colorado since Thursday, albeit up in the mountains rather than in the Eastern part of the state where the floods are worst. Having said that, it is still raining up here which is bad news for those at the bottom of the valleys.

I echo the thoughts of scotsoft and others and hope that everyone is ok and that life gets back to normal very soon.
