After some requests from members (and some updating to the forum), I've now made it possible for members to show their N Gauge Society and 2mm Association member numbers on their profiles, and posts.

Let me know what you think.

What use are the numbers to anybody else anyway?

I am not a number. I am a free MAN! (Punches air with fist).

The numbers are useful to relate to articles in the Journals, or contacting members privately through the Society/Association.  I get contacted every now and again.

Tank is 100% spot on, it helps people pin-point a journal and article.

If any of you guys need help or want to borrow a back copy of a journal between Jan 04-Jun11, please PM me so I can help...

Numbers mean nowt! (take it from an Ex-Service Man!) It just means that we are all part of something good and that our knowledge (big or small) cannot be quantified (but as a group can), yet we shall all endeavour to help and support our fellow N Gauge mates...
