Well, I don't know about that........but, having never heard of Katzenjammer, I had to look them up.

I've just listened to Demon Kitty Rag and A Bar in Amsterdam which, although not really my thing, are quite good fun.

It's always good to discover new music and artists.

As far as I'm aware I have no Gaelic blood in me but, since I used to go hill walking in the Republic in the late70s/early 80s, I have loved their music. I think it was 'Planxty' who set me off, and an evening in Matt Malloy's pub in Westport, Co. Mayo. I've walked up the 2 holy mountains (St.Brendan's and Croagh Patrick) and also done Carrauntoohil. Here's a great track entitled 'Roisin Dubh' (Not to be confused with the Thin Lizzy track of the same name)
