Sorry to hear about your laptops demise, I hope it can be repaired?

Would your stepson not "loan" you his iphone till you get your laptop sorted out?

Sorry to hear that Mike, being without a computer these days is like getting your arm chopped off.

I always have a spare computer on hand just in case, I also never use fancy computers and can buy ex Government desktops for about 100 quid that come with a monitor, keyboard and mouse, most are dual core jobs and work great.

Hope you get online ASAP as we enjoy your pictures

laptop is not repairable.
have just found the prehistoric xp laptop i used to use. no wi fi built in so had to revive an old usb internet dongle.
hopefully it will work and not too many updates needed from windows.

Oi! Some of us are still on XP laptops and use wifi via a plug-in PCM card  :D

It is a bit slow now but it does the job, and although I could probably get a new laptop it's the cost of the Dreamweaver software needed to do my website that stops me upgrading  ;)
