Hi all,

Is this the ultimate layout to have in your garden - railroad statistics included 5 miles of mainline with 6.5 miles total track, over 1000 feet of trestles, 190+ switches, bi-directional running with 30 passing sidings, 30 signal blocks, 27 industry spurs, 2 yards, and 9 junctions.

Gnep

:) Would love to have my own private RR (and enough land to run it on)...

Meanwhile, a bit nearer to home, I'll be taking my 3 1/2 yr old son to the Great Cockrow Railway (again) on Sunday (bank holiday rain aside....). We both love it.

It's 1/8 scale and has about 2 miles of track - and convenient for much of the home counties as it's not far from the M3/M25 junction...
