Couldn't have told you what "progressive house" involves, but the link seems like it could be quite good working / coding music, will listen more later.  Have a vote! :)

I have actually downloaded a few tracks now, currently listening to DJSet128, certainly not mainstream - very musical if that makes sense with some nicely mixed up samples especially the Staying alive sample

Bit different to choral music, Lawrence :o

I can't answer for Lawrence but 8 Tramadols today isn't helping me to like it I'm afraid.

You got my vote.  That's nice work   Sonique and the Urban Cookie Collective made me smile... I remember those!  And Heaven on the other mix - really liked DJ Sammy.

I love the "Mastered - Unsigned" track 8)  Very trancey and the breakdown is excellent... really nice build up.  Not something I recognize... Is that one your own track?

Good luck in the competition.

Yes the unmastered track is one I produced myself. It is my first attempt at producing music and I have a couple of other trance tracks in the making.
Thankyou for the feedback and vote.

What are you using to write the music?  I have been using Reason.

I would be very interested to hear the new ones when they are finished!

I use Ableton Live Suite 8, do you have a soundcloud account?

I do now have an account, but I'm not sure my music is not really good enough for public consumption!!!

Sorry guys but I thought music was made using instruments, not computers. Am I really getting too old?

You are mate, computers have been used to make commercially available music since at least the early 70's and possibly before that  ::)

Matthew-peter

you can even make music on a gameboy, the colour version atleast haha

Guess I'll be staying out of date then. Sorry but I'm in the Trainfish camp and respect the playing of instruments not PCB's. No disrespect to Lucy and those who like it. Each to their own :music:
