RIP Space Ace

KISS was the first band I ever went to see - 1980 at Deeside Leisure Centre.
It was an ice rink covered with a carpet and my feet were freezing at the end of the night.

Yeah, I saw that today. Funnily enough I didn't mind Kiss. They were huge here for a while.

I didn't see Kiss at the Deeside Leisure Centre but I did see a few other bands there in the early 80's. I think Blondie probably melted the ice!

Blimey, that's a blast from the past! Blondie at Deeside Leisure Centre in 1980 - I was there. What a gig that was. Hard to believe it's 45 years ago now.
