Just went onto the Hattons site, went to log in to my account, and a warning came up saying

I didn't get anything here.  I just went straight to their website without any problems.  ???

I'm the same as Tank, straight on no problems.

Probably just a glitch, try it again.

cheers John.

Not here. If it is some kind of crude interception equipment then I would make very sure you never ever order anything or give any information over a link that gets the warning. Also if someone comes along and adds new certificates to your computer to "fix" the problem. treat the machine as unsafe. There are interception systems that work on this basis, although they are supposed to be used with modifications (extra "fake" certificates) loaded on the client PCs so the end user doesn't notice.

Even if you trust your boss some of these interception systems designed to let companies monitor secure outgoing traffic are very very insecure themselves and have been subject to serious security attacks of their own.

It's also basically impossible to tell one of these from a real trojan which makes them doubly dangerous.

I just got the same message when I went to look at the American 4-4-0 (linked in another post). Ignored the warning and site loaded up fine.

Marty

are you on a home or work PC ?

just wondered if it was down to the filters that some companies install, with ours N guage society used to be blocked at one time "sexual content"  :smiley-laughing:

Donkey

At home. It happened when I clicked a link in another post. I have just tried it again direct from my bookmarks and had no problem  ???

just gets queerer and queerer.

sent Hattons an e-mail with the error message just for their info, but it looks more and more like our filters here at work.
