Hi - I'm looking to have some locos professionally weathered, any recommendations for businesses doing that would be great.

@Newportnobby will testify. Why not use the pm @Ensign Elliott Rob of this parish and send photos of the locomotive (s) / rolling stock which you wish to be weathered.  George gave some examples in the link above

I've had just the one loco done by Rob and am well satisfied with the result, but I believe @Bob G of this parish has had several done. Rob will weather to the degree you specify e.g. light, medium or heavy and will also add all those little details someone like me is too old and knackered to even see, let alone apply :-[
Of course, this may involve the loss of a coupling at one end but the choice is there for you

Other than that, Rails of Sheffield offer a weathering service as do TMC Models and Grimy Times, however I reckon your loco will be looked upon as one of his own if you use Rob

Thanks for the suggestions!

Rob's work is great, and his prices are excellent. Only other person I'd recommend first hand would be Mercig. His work is exquisite, with a price to match! He'll do lots of work to improve locos though, detailing and what not, so it depends a bit on what you're after and the budget!
