Just noticed this Japanese company do some interesting chasses.

Anyone experience with them? More specifically, some Japanese motors seem to use 3 V, is that the case here? Also, what are they like to convert to DCC?

I appreciate there is a board for Japanese modelling, but I intend to put a British body on it, so this seems the right board?
Some of my 3d print designs can be found on Cults3d, and I blog about them here.

I bought a bunch of the 0811 motors and flywheels from Aru 10 years ago when I came across them at the Expo Narrow Gauge show.  This was years before coreless motor upgrades became all the rage :)

I've done 3 or 4 motor upgrades using them. Minitrix mostly, but also an Arnold for which I created a 3D printed motor mount. The 0811 motors I bought are rated 9V - 12V, I presume the similar looking ones they sell now are equivalent.  They are certainly smoother running than the original Minitrix motors, possibly not quite as much torque but they're physically smaller and adding the flywheel smooths things out nicely :)  I've not tried any DCC conversions on models fitted with them.

Here are examples of the parts I bought back in 2015, also shows an N-Drive motor (N20 style) for size comparison.
