I am looking for kits or bodyshells for leader locomotive and bodyshells for lion, kestrel an falcon diesel locomotives.(To fit old style Farish class 47 chassis.)

Newportnobby

Hello David, and welcome to the forum.
I'm aware @Bob G has done a Leader and @Dalteth has done a Falcon so maybe they can help. Whilst I've seen the odd Kestrel at shows but I've not seen a Lion, I don't think

I have resin body kits for both Loin and Falcon, think they were by Pacific models, got them years ago from East Somerset.

Yes these were originally by Britannia Pacific models.
I think that the resin moulds went to Leicester Modellers but they have since replaced them with 3D printed versions.

Lion probably fits a class 47 chassis but I know that Falcon fits a Farish class 50 chassis (as I have two resin ones, in WR green and BR rail blue)

Yes the Brittania Pacific Lion fits a class 47 chassis - I have one on an early BachFar Chinese chassis.

The original Lion etc were Silver Fox Models and B H E have written permision to sell them under their brand Ihave a signed letter from John Hazelton of Silver Fox to prove it .
But since Ray passed away I am not sure what the position is regarding stock as I dont get over to Watford now .

@bobtidbury you are correct, I do remember dad and John Hazleton had the agreement for distribution of the ex silver fox N range.

On the getting over to Watford anymore unfortunately with your mobility issues and not able to use public transport over easily. Public Transport from Wycombe to Watford is non existence unless going into London and out by trains.

On stock availability we (Martin / Andrew and myself) are trying to see where things are.

Bob I'm sure you can appreciate the task with sorting the garage out.  As my weekends situation is changing with less Grass Roots (Sons) football, we're trying to get a date in that we can all be in and blitz big style.

Yes I understand it must be a massive task ,Even your Dad couldnt always find certain items ,I remember once we spent nearly all day looking for a spare part that he knew he had but couldn't remember exactly where it was as it was a long time ago when he last saw it .
That garage is huge and there must be lots of treasures hidden in there .
I also realise its difficult for me to get over, or you to pick me up , and now I am not so mobile there isnt a lot I can do to help .
Good luck I will always point customers your way whenever I can .

It was Silver Fox that did the N gauge Resin Bodies and I have a signed letter From John Hazleton giving B H E FULL permision to reproduce the kits but as BHE have said they are doing their best to sort out supplies .We used to sell the kits and John very kindly did some painted models for me at a special price so we could display them on the stand .
Britania Pacific was John Hazletons brother and he did OO kits .
I am useless at technology so I cant put the proof on the main Forum page but if anyone PMs me I can put it on the Forum Facebook page .

BHE did produce a conversion kit for Kestrel, using a Poole-era 47 as the base. it comprised of new cast cabs and etched overlays for the body and roof.
