Andy York (RMWeb) RIP

Phil Parker has announced on RMWeb that Andy York, who founded and ran the site, passed away a couple of days ago. I know that many NGF members are also active on RMWeb; but even those who actively avoided it will recognise that Andy York has been a key figure in the evolution of the hobby online in the UK/UK prototype space.

There's an obituary on the site (currently linked from the RMWeb homepage) with comments open for condolences etc.

This came as a great shock today, I had been in contact with him earlier this year. He was a great advocate for the hobby and small manufacturers. He leaves a big hole in the hobby and will be missed by many. RIP Andy.
