Do any Farish chassis share the same chassis block as the Hall. Thank you. Graham

Yes - all the Poole era models share only two basic chassis blocks - the Hall has common chassis block with the Black 5, Duchess, A3, A4, Merchant Navy, 61xx Prairie. Obviously wheels, valve gear and bogies differ between all these.

Crab and 4F are later and have a different wheelbase block.

Thank you Dr Al just the job, I've got a B12 white metal kit and having trouble getting a Hall chassis so I can find one of the others and get some wheels from BR Lines.

If of any interest, I've several old Halls, mechanically excellent but poor paint - may be what you need?
