I  too  fondly  remember  Eric Sykes with his long series of  Sykes  &  was brought up  on  it,  thank  you Eric .

To this day "The Plank" is one of the funniest and cleverest pieces of comedy ever written  :thumbsup:

Just re-watched the 1979 version of The Plank on YouTube, written and directed by the Man himself. Still hilarious after all these years, and all those great appearances by comedy legends. They must have had a blast making it.

Yep, RIP Mr Sykes. Bet the tellytubbies miss 'im too.
