Dapol Class 59

Well after having a Dapol Class 59001 (Aggregates Industries) on pre order for the last 8 or so years it finally arrived. Guess what it's got silly faults. Glaringly a bell at both ends and functions 19 and 20 do not extinquish tail lights when hauling.
Still a nice looking model, a pity quality control missed these points, I guess there was a rush to beat RevolutioN to the shops. Expect a Freightliner 59 from Revolution in the next few days, will make an interesting comparison.

I'm afraid the extra bell end on 59001 did sneak past me. I will have a word with our DCC expert regarding the tail-light functions.

The one I saw had the lights wrong too - all 4 headlights should be illuminated on a 59/0, did they sort that one?
