No running on 'Heatherley' last night - annual AGM (snooze city  )
However, the date was set for our Xmas dinner - 3.12.25
One of our members co-owns a Chinese restaurant/take away so he brings a banquet over to the club rooms and the club pays for it. Great nosh :food:

More than a tad WR running last night saw box vans/conflats substituted for coal wagons and hydraulics as motive power

'Goliath' was sunk in the Dardanelles in 1915 by Turkish warships and my great, great uncle Alfred Lucas was one of 570 who perished out of a crew of 750 :(

I really don't think the rest of the members would shut up just for me to take a vid

Mind you the sentimental piece about the Warship Goliath was touching and special to your memories. Performs well and like the viaduct over the river

No layouts running tonight as it was the Club Xmas Dinner. A banquet of Chinese food supplied by a club member who owns a Chinese takeaway/restaurant in Southport along with his wife.
Scrummy nosh and a great laugh :food:

After all these years I've only just noticed the coffin being carried towards the church. Maybe I'm weird but I do like seeing a good funeral which is why I have 2 so far on my layout  8)

As for the trains, well, those kettles all look the same to me  :D

These are fantastic videos and great modeling.
Spend as little as possible on what you need so you can spend as much as possible on what you want.

Newportnobby

I can't claim anything for the layout as it was built long before I joined the club
